Durban – AfriForum’s chief executive, Kallie Kriel, has sent a letter to Saru saying it was considering boycotting next year’s Vodacom Cup as the decision was not in the “interest of rugby players of all races”. He said that Saru had elected to support the ANC’s “racially divisive ideology” and had turned its back on young players and regular supporters of the game.
They are imported from the Western Cape and the Eastern Cape from a young age to schools in Pretoria, where they are away from their families for months.
