Smit's coaching team takes shape

Durban – It has been reported from Pretoria that Sharks chief executive John Smit has called up his former coach at Pretoria Boys High, Paul Anthony, to join the Sharks’ coaching unit for the Currie Cup, to be headed by Brendan Venter and which is to include Brad MacLeod-Henderson and Sean Everitt, but Smit could not be contacted on Wednesday to confirm this. Anthony has recently been coach of the Bulls’ under-19 team, and it has also been reported that a former teammate of Smit’s at the Sharks, Deon Carstens, could join the coaching team as a forward consultant.
