Ramaphosa shouted down by Marikana protesters
A member of the Marikana Support Campaign stood at the foot of the University of Witwatersrand's Great Hall stage during a question and answer session on Tuesday with ANC deputy president Cyril Ramaphosa and screamed at him. One criticised Ramaphosa, saying that the election of one of the richest people in the country to deputy president of the ANC was worrying. Earlier, the Marikana Support Campaign members sang and danced in the hall.
Ten people, including two police officers and two security officers, were killed in the preceding week.
