RENOWNED radio and television presenter Vuyo Mbuli, who died on Saturday after a pulmonary embolism, will have a special official funeral on Friday. Thebe Mohatle, spokesman for Gauteng premier Nomvula Mokonyane, said this means the flag will be flown at half-mast at government buildings on Friday, and Mbuli will be buried at West Park Cemetery in Johannesburg where national heroes are buried. Mbuli, 46, collapsed at the Bloemfontein Stadium during a Super Rugby match between the Cheetahs and the Reds.
