Italy U21 delight for Borini
Italy striker Fabio Borini was delighted to put an unhappy season behind him by firing his country into the final of the European Under-21 Championship. The Liverpool striker, who scored just twice for his new club last term in an injury-hit campaign after arriving from Roma, scored the only goal of the game to defeat Holland in their semi-final. The Azzurrini will now take on Spain in the final of the Under-21 tournament in Israel on Tuesday after Borini's smart turn and finish in the 79th minute in Petak Tikva on Saturday night.
