Rodriguez chasing history
Maxi Rodriguez is determined to lead Newell's Old Boys to an historic double ahead of the second leg of their Copa Libertadores semi-final against Atletico Mineiro. The Rosario club claimed the Argentina title last month and are favourites to reach the final of South America's premier club competition following their home 2-0 first-leg win last week. Rodriguez was on target in that game and the former Liverpool winger, who returned to his home-town club last year, knows how important a place in the final would be.
