Needy pupils get new uniforms
A total of 100 pupils at Olebile Primary School in Magogong village outside Taung were all smiles after receiving uniforms from social development MEC Collen Maine on Friday. The children were recommended by school and community leaders after they were identified as being from poor families. Maine, who was accompanied by senior departmental officials and local councillors, said his department had a responsibility to all children and their welfare, hence the intervention.
